Mussel & Bacon Pasta

A simple, easy and quick dinner option. Use fresh mussels or from the pottle. (Talley's Garlic Mussels are best.)

Ingredients

250 g fettuccine pasta
200 g bacon, chopped
1 onion, rough chopped
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp ginger, grated
250 g Meadow Fresh crème fraîche
500 g mussels, chopped rough
½ tsp SIDS SMOKEY BBQ RUB
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
3 tsp sweet Thai chilli sauce
2 tsp chopped parsley

Directions

Cook pasta as per packet.
Meanwhile, with a little oil in a hot large pan, cook bacon, onion, garlic and ginger. When the bacon and onion is cooked, add crème fraîche, mussels, SIDS SMOKEY BBQ RUB, chilli sauce and season with SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste.
Serve on a bed of pasta and garnish with parsley.
