Ingredients
120 g thin cut beef steak
1 tbsp SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE
½ small onion, peeled & sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
4 tbsp Pic's creamy peanut butter
1 tbsp chilli sauce
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp rice bran oil
6 slices tasty cheese
1 loaf of bread
4 tbsp butter, softened
Directions
Slice beef to bite sized pieces and coat with garlic and SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE.
SAUCE: In a bowl, mix together peanut butter, chilli sauce and soy sauce.
Preheat oven to 190°C.
Cut each halved Italian bread into half horizontally. Hollow out some of the soft white bread part from inside. Spread butter on each cut side of the bread and place breads on a baking tray, butter side up, and bake in oven for about 5 minutes until slightly brown. Keep the breads warm.
In a frypan, heat oil and sauté garlic and onion until onions are tender. Add beef and cook until beef is cooked through. Add sauce to the pan. Sauté the beef mixture to coat the sauce well. Add SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste.
Put the beef mixture on the bottom of each bread, (drip off the excess sauce) place cheeses (3 slices for each) and put the top of each bread to close sandwich. Return the sandwiches to the oven and bake for 3-4 minutes until cheese melts.
Cut each sandwich into half and place on each serving plate.
