Ingredients
12 strips of streaky bacon
12 medium/large brussels sprouts
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
Toothpicks
Directions
Preheat oven to 190°C and line a baking tray with tin foil.
Prepare brussels sprouts by washing and patting dry with a paper towel.
Place a sprout at the top of a piece of bacon. Roll up inside of bacon, using the full piece of bacon to wrap, then place on baking tray. Season with SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste.
Bake for 30-35 minutes depending on how crispy you like your bacon.
To serve, insert a toothpick into each brussels sprout.
Hint: half-cook the sprouts in chicken stock to remove the bitter flavour.
