Ingredients
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
2 large kumera, peeled & cut into 2 cm cubes
500 g bacon strips, halved
¼ cup packed brown sugar
Golden syrup, warmed
Directions
Preheat oven to 175°C. In a large bowl mix butter, SIDS SALT & PEPPER and seasonings. Add kumera and toss to coat.
Wrap 1 piece bacon around each kumera cube then secure with a toothpick. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Place on a baking paper-lined 35x28x2 cm baking pan.
Bake until bacon is crisp and kumera is tender, 40-45 minutes. Serve with golden syrup.
