Ingredients

2 onions
250 g streaky bacon
¼ cup maple or Golden syrup
4 tbsp rice bran oil
Water soaked toothpicks
½ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT

Directions

Preheat oven to 180°C.
Cut the onions into thick rings then separate so that each onion ring consists of two layers. Wrap each onion ring with streaky bacon to completely cover the onion then secure with a toothpick and place onto a greased oven tray.
Mix together SIDS CRAZY SALT, maple syrup and oil, then brush liberally onto the onion rings.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until the bacon is cooked through and golden.
