Ingredients
2 butternut squash, halved lengthwise & seeded
very light sprinkle of cinnamon
1 cup water
2 tbsp butter, divided
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 175°C.
Sprinkle cinnamon on the cut side of the squash then place squash, cut sides down, in a 20 x 30 cm baking dish. Pour water into dish around squash halves.
Bake in the oven until tender and easily pierced with a fork, about 1½ hours. Carefully remove the skin with a fork then it should be very easy to remove. Top squash halves with butter and season with SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste.
