Ingredients
600 g flour
200 g fine semolina
2 bags of dried yeast (7 g)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
200 ml of lukewarm milk
400 ml lukewarm water
FILLING:--
250 g minced meat
1 small onion
1 orange pepper
½ green pepper
2 tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER
½ tsp paprika powder
½ tsp turmeric
Few sprigs of fresh flat parsley, chopped
Sugar to taste
Directions
Mix flour with semolina and yeast. Add SIDS CRAZY SALT, salt and mix the milk with the water. Add that little by little until you have a cohesive dough ball. It may feel a bit sticky. Knead this by hand or in a machine for 10-15 minutes until soft and supple. Let rise for an hour.
Meanwhile, make the filling by browning the minced meat in some oil with the herbs. Fry the chopped onion and peppers until they are softer then let the filling cool.
After proofing, divide the dough into approximately 15-20 balls. (depending on how large you want to make them) Always press a ball flat, put some filling on it and then squeeze the edges together to make another ball. Turn the ball and press it flat to a circle.
Finish all balls and leave them covered for another 15 minutes.
Heat a pan to high heat then lower it slightly. Put a few batbots in the pan and fry on each side for a few minutes until they are golden brown and cooked on the inside.
