Ingredients

125 g butter
1 cup flour
1 leek, fine chopped
1 tsp SIDS RINGS AROUND URANUS SAUCE
2 kg blade or chuck steak, lightly trimmed
½ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
2 onions, peeled & sliced
2 carrots, washed & fine chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
2 tbsp chopped chives
2 bouquet garni
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
700 ml red wine

Directions

Cut meat into 2 cm cubes. Toss in flour mixed with SIDS CRAZY SALT.
Heat butter in a hot frypan and brown the meat quickly then put in crockpot. Add onions, leek, SIDS RINGS AROUND URANUS SAUCE, carrots, garlic, parsley, chives and bouquet garni. Pour red wine into the pan used for browning the meat and bring to the boil, scraping any bits off the bottom. Pour into the crockpot, cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
Season with SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste then serve.
