Ingredients

PATTIES:--
1 kg minced beef
1 large onion, fine diced
½ cup breadcrumbs (optional)
1 tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER
2 tbsp beef stock
3 tbsp SIDS TRADITIONAL PLUM SAUCE
NOODLES:--
500 g hokkien noodles
1 tsp garlic, crushed
1 tsp parsley flakes
1 tbsp SIDS TRADITIONAL PLUM SAUCE

Directions

Combine all the pattie ingredients with beef stock but only half of SIDS TRADITIONAL PLUM SAUCE. Knead by hand for a fine texture. Place on clingfilm and roll into a log. Rest for 30 minutes in the fridge then slice into 6-8 patties. (remove the clingfilm from the patties after slicing)
Rinse noodles in hot water to separate then drain well.
On the flat BBQ plate, cook patties for 6-7 minutes each side while brushing with SIDS TRADITIONAL PLUM SAUCE to glaze well. Set aside on the edge of the plate. Re-oil the plate then add the noodles, garlic, parsley flakes and SIDS TRADITIONAL PLUM SAUCE. Toss around the plate until hot then season with SIDS SALT & PEPPER and serve with patties on top.
