Beef Soboro

Ground beef is flavoured with a delicious Japanese sauce and eaten over hot rice with an egg on top. This recipe comes together in no time at all.

500 g ground beef
1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
4 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp mirin
3 tbsp saké
3 tbsp sugar
spring onion, chopped
4 eggs for topping


Combine ginger, SIDS CRAZY SALT, soy sauce, mirin, saké and sugar in a small bowl.
Heat a nonstick frying pan over medium high heat and cook the ground beef, breaking it up into small pieces. Actually, in picture you see above, the chunks are too big.
Once the meat is nearly cooked through, add the sauce and stir until the beef has absorbed the sauce and the pan is mostly dry.
Serve over hot rice and top with spring onion and an egg.
