Ingredients
PATTIE:--
750 g ground beef
½ onion, finely chopped
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE
1 egg
28 g envelope dry onion soup mix
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp crushed dried rosemary
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
CONDIMENTS:--
2 onions, sliced
2 gherkins, sliced in rings
6 eggs
American mustard
Tuimato sauce
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
6 baps, sliced in half
Directions
Preheat a grill to HIGH.
In a large bowl, mix together using your clean hands, ground beef, onion, cheese, soy sauce, SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE, egg, onion soup mix, garlic, garlic powder, parsley, basil, oregano, rosemary, SIDS SALT & PEPPER. Form into 6 patties.
In a large pan, fry the onion rings with some butter until golden. Remove and keep warm. Using an oiled egg ring, fry an egg until yolk is almost set. Remove the ring and flip the egg. Fry for a further 20 seconds then remove and keep warm. Clean and re-oil the ring. Repeat a further 5 times.
Grill patties for 5 minutes per side on the hot grill, until well done. Place baps on the grill, cut side down, for 1 minute.
To assemble, place bottom half of a bap on a paper napkin on a plate. Top (in order) with meat pattie, SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste, Tuimato sauce, 1 egg, 1 tsp onion, 1 tsp gherkin and a ring of mustard. Place top bap on top and enjoy.
NOTE:- DO NOT undercook the egg (like the picture) or you will have egg yolk EVERYWHERE.
