Ingredients
6 rashers of bacon
1 cup chopped onion
3 (480 g) cans undrained pork & beans
1 (480 g) can Cannellini beans, drained & rinsed
1 (480 g) can Navy beans, drained & rinsed
¾ cup Tuimato sauce
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup molasses
¼ cup bourbon
2 tbsp yellow mustard powder
1 tbsp SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE
1 tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
Directions
Cook bacon in a nonstick frypan. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate.
Sauté onion in the bacon fat for 3-4 minutes.
Place onions, SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE, SIDS SALT & PEPPER and all other ingredients, except bacon, in a 6-litre crockpot. Stir well, cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
Remove top, turn heat to HIGH and cook 20 minutes to thicken some. Stir in bacon.
