Bread & Butter Peppers

Chill and serve on fresh bread, use as a salad or garnish. So very tasty. Makes about 3 litres.

Ingredients

3 each green, yellow, red & orange peppers
4 cloves garlic, minced
1½ tsp salt
1 cup water
3 cups Red Wine Vinegar
2 cups white sugar
1 tsp mustard seed
1 tsp celery seed
½ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT

Directions

Remove the stalk, core & seeds from the peppers and cut them lengthwise into thick strips. Place in a large pan, pour over boiling water then simmer for 1 minute. Drain and set aside.
Combine SIDS CRAZY SALT with the rest of the ingredients in a pan then simmer for 30 minutes.
Pack the peppers into hot jars then pour in the hot liquid and seal.
