Ingredients

BARBEQUE SAUCE:--
1½ cups Tuimato sauce
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup beef stock
¼ cup very finely chopped onion
3 tbsp SIDS RASPBERRY VINEGAR
3 tbsp SIDS RINGS AROUND URANUS SAUCE
1 tsp SIDS SMOKEY BBQ RUB
1 tsp garlic, minced
¾ tsp ground black pepper
BRISKET:--
¼ cup paprika
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp garlic, minced
2 kg beef brisket

Directions

Place SIDS RASPBERRY VINEGAR, SIDS RINGS AROUND URANUS, SIDS SMOKEY BBQ RUB, beef stock and the rest of the barbecue sauce ingredients in a 3-quart or larger slow cooker and stir to combine. Place all of the measured brisket ingredients except the brisket, in a medium bowl and stir to combine as the spice rub.
Place the brisket on a cutting board and cut it in half widthwise to fit your crockpot. Evenly coat it with the spice rub, let sit for 15 minutes then place the brisket pieces in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW until fork-tender, about 10 hours.
Transfer the brisket to a clean cutting board. Pour the barbecue sauce from the slow cooker into a medium heatproof bowl and set it aside to cool.
Remove the excess fat from the brisket and discard. Slice the meat against the grain into 6 mm thick pieces.
Use a spoon to skim and discard the fat from the surface of the barbecue sauce. Return the sauce and the meat to the slow cooker until hot, about 10 minutes. Taste and season with SIDS SALT & PEPPER as needed.
