Ingredients

500 g fresh brussels sprouts
3 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp maple or golden syrup
4 strips bacon, cut into 1 cm pieces
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with baking paper. Grease the baking paper generously with baking spray.
In a mixing bowl, mix together sprouts, oil, and syrup.
Add uncooked bacon and mix really well to coat all the vegetables
Season the Brussels Sprouts with SIDS SALT & PEPPER and mix everything together again until well covered.
Place onto prepared baking tray, spreading out bacon so it's on a single layer.
Bake for approximately 30-40 minutes until bacon is fully cooked and Brussels sprouts are roasted.
Turn them over half way between cooking so both sides get slightly crispy.
