Ingredients

2 tbsp butter
1 large red onion, very finely chopped
500 g ground beef or lamb
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tbsp sweet paprika
½ tsp cumin
1 tsp dried coriander
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
1 cabbage head, thick stem removed, washed & roughly chopped
2 cups beef stock

Directions

Place a Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the butter, to melt. Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 3-5 minutes until soft. Add ground beef and cook until nicely browned, breaking it down with a wooden spoon with no lumps, about 5-7 minutes. Add the tomato paste, chilli flakes, paprika, cumin, coriander, and SIDS SALT & PEPPER.
Stir and cook for 1 minute. Add the cabbage and stock.
Cover the pot and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 minutes until cabbage is tender.
Taste and adjust for salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley and serve.
