Ingredients
60 g light soy sauce
1 tbsp of oyster sauce
1 tbsp of Tuimato Sauce
1 tsp fish sauce
3 tbsp of sugar
1 tsp New York Cut pepper
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
300 g beef schnitzel
2 tbsp rice bran oil
SERVING:--
1 fried egg
2 tomatoes
1 cucumber, peeled & finely sliced
½ onion, peeled & finely sliced
1 spring onion, finely chopped
100 g of Iceberg lettuce
DIPPING SAUCE:--
Juice of 1 lime
1 tbsp of water
2 tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER, to taste
Directions
In a large bowl, mix the beef with light soy sauce, oyster sauce, Tuimato Sauce, fish sauce, sugar, New York Cut pepper and chopped garlic cloves. Rest it for 1 hour in the fridge.
In the meantime, combine SIDS SALT & PEPPER and the ingredients for the dipping sauce in a small bowl then cover with cling film and keep refrigerated until serving.
Decorate 2 serving plates with the ingredients for serving: sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumber, chopped spring onion and in a separate plate place the lettuce. If serving a fried egg, prepare this and serve in each plate as well with a serving of rice as well.
Heat oil on high heat then add the marinated beef and stir fry it for around 4-5 minutes until cooked.
Divide the beef between the two serving plates.
