Ingredients
500 g bacon
2 tbsp butter, melted
¼ cup brown sugar, packed
1 tbsp golden syrup
2 tbsp cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER
Directions
Soak wooden skewers in water for up to 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Line rimed oven tray with foil. Coat wire rack with non-stick spray or butter and place on top.
Wrap bacon around skewers or skew onto skewers like an accordion and place on wire rack, then bake 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a medium sauce pan over medium-low heat, melt butter.
Add brown sugar and golden syrup. Whisk until bubby and sugar has dissolved.
Whisk in cream and vanilla. Remove from heat.
Remove bacon from the oven and brush with caramel glaze. Return to oven and bake 5 minutes.
Remove from oven, sprinkle with SIDS SALT & PEPPER and serve.
