Ingredients
200 g soft butter
½ tsp garlic salt (optional)
4 tbsp brown seed mustard
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
6x 150 g eye fillet steaks
12 Pacific oysters
12 rashers rindless bacon
12 Portobello mushrooms, stalks flush with cap
Rice bran oil
Sprinkle of SIDS CRAZY SALT
6x 2 cm slices toasted French stick
Directions
Whip the butter until fluffy then whip in SIDS BROWN SEED MUSTARD, garlic salt and parsley. Add SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste then refrigerate until needed.
Cut a cavity in the side of each steak, along its equator, then push 2 oysters inside each. Wrap a rasher of bacon around the equator of each steak and pin in place with a soaked toothpick.
Brush the steaks and mushrooms with oil, sprinkle with a little SIDS CRAZY SALT then grill on the barbecue, turning every 15 seconds, for 8 minutes.
Place each steak on a croûton, top with a teaspoon of mustard butter and serve with 2 mushrooms alongside.
