Ingredients
500 g blade, shin or gravy-beef
2 tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
2 lambs kidneys
1 onion, chopped
2 stalks, celery
1 small carrot, chopped
1 kumera, diced
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
2 cups GF beef stock
1 tbsp arrowroot, for thickening
1 pinch thyme
Directions
Trim excess fat off the steak and cut into 2 cm cubes then sprinkle with SIDS CRAZY SALT. Halve the kidneys and cut out the white bits then slice very finely. Sprinkle with SIDS CRAZY SALT.
Cook onion & celery in a casserole dish for a few minutes then add carrot & kumera for another few minutes. Add beef and kidneys and stir well until browned. Add beef stock and remaining ingredients except arrowroot, cover and cook in oven at 140°C for 2 hours until meat is tender. Add arrowroot mixed with water to thicken.
