Ingredients

1 tbsp rice bran oil
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves minced garlic
2 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 green chilli, chopped
1 tbsp ground cumin
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
½ tsp ground cayenne pepper
4 cups chopped tomatoes
4 cups cooked chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
½ cup Tuimato Sauce
½ cup plain yoghurt
1 lemon, juiced
½ tsp salt

Directions

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Sauté onion, garlic, ginger and green chilli in hot oil until onions are translucent, about 10 minutes.
Season onion mixture with cumin, paprika, coriander, garam masala, SIDS CRAZY SALT, turmeric and cayenne pepper then stir. Cook onion with spices until fragrant, 1-2 minutes. Add tomatoes, chickpeas and Tuimato Sauce then stir and simmer until the tomatoes soften, about 5 minutes.
Stir yoghurt into the mixture until the colour of the mixture is even, then simmer until again hot, about 5 minutes more. Remove pan from heat then stir lemon juice and salt into the mixture.
