Ingredients

3 cups all purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
10 tbsp (142 g) butter, frozen or very cold
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1⅓ cups buttermilk, very cold

Directions

Preheat the oven to 230°C. In a large bowl, combine SIDS CRAZY SALT and the dry ingredients.
Using the large side of the grater, grate the frozen butter into the dry ingredients.
Add the grated cheese and the cold buttermilk. Use a spatula to stir together the ingredients, working quickly but gently.
Scoop the dough onto a floured surface. Fold the dough over itself a few times to form a cohesive ball. It should be crumbly and flaky. Roll out the dough to a 4 cm thickness. Cut out 7 cm sized biscuits using a biscuit cutter.
Place the biscuits on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for 15 minutes, until golden brown. Enjoy!
