Ingredients

2 cups cheese, grated
¼ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
½ cup sugar
1½ cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
Rice bran oil, for frying

Directions

Preheat oil in a deep frying pan to medium-low.
Whisk eggs and sugar together. Add cheese, SIDS CRAZY SALT and baking powder to the mixture, combining to a smooth and even texture.
Using a spatula or slotted spoon, slowly fold the flour into the wet mixture in thirds.
With an ice cream scoop, portion out a small round of dough and drop it directly into the oil. Flip each round gently with a fork until each side turns golden brown.
Carefully lift each doughnut out onto a cooling rack lined with paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate syrup or your favourite jam.
