Ingredients
500 g chicken mince
½ cup grated carrot
¼ cup chives, chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp SIDS CRAZY LEMON
1 cup cooked rice
50 g feta, crumbled
1 egg, beaten
4 sheets puff pastry
Milk for glazing
2 tsp sesame seeds
SIDS TAMARILLO SAUCE
Directions
Preheat oven to 200°C and line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
Combine the mince, carrot, chives, garlic powder, rice, fetta, egg and SIDS CRAZY LEMON then mix well with clean fingers. Season, then divide the mixture into 4.
Lay a sheet of pastry onto a flat surface and arrange the chicken filling along 1 side. Roll up to enclose the chicken, then cut into 3 portions and place onto the baking tray. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Score the top of each sausage roll lightly 3-4 times, then brush with milk. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 30 minutes until pastry is golden brown.
Serve hot with SIDS TAMARILLO SAUCE for dipping.
