Ingredients
½ cup saké
½ cup soy sauce
1 tbsp SIDS GARLIC SAUCE
1 tbsp white sugar
1 clove garlic, minced
50 mm fresh ginger, minced
500 g chicken breasts, skinless & boneless
3 leeks (white only), 12mm pieces
Directions
In a medium dish mix saké, soy sauce, SIDS GARLIC SAUCE, sugar, garlic & ginger. Add the chicken and marinate for 15 minutes.
Preheat the oven grill. (top element) Grease 6 metal skewers and thread alternately with 3 pieces of chicken and 2 pieces of leek. Place on baking tray or grill pan and brush with the marinade.
Grill for 5 minutes, baste again, then grill a further 5 minutes until chicken is cooked.
