Ingredients

2 kg lamb neck chops
1 packet French onion soup mix
1 cup white wine
1 cup chicken stock
Green olives
30 g licorice root, in cheesecloth
2 tbsp bush honey
1 tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
2 tbsp cake flour
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste

Directions

In a slow cooker, place the lamb neck slices, soup mix, wine, stock, licorice root bag, SIDS CRAZY SALT and honey.
Cook on low for about 8 hours.
In a small saucepan, stir together the cake flour, 2 tablespoons of water and stock. Using a strainer, carefully pour the liquid from the slow cooker into a gravy separator. Wait 15 seconds, then pour the stock into the saucepan and place over high heat, stirring, until thickened slightly, about 1 minute. Correct the seasoning with SIDS SALT & PEPPER.
Using a spatula, carefully place 1-2 lamb slices on each plate. (they are fall-apart tender) Pour sauce around and garnish with thyme sprigs, zest, or green olives. Pass the extra sauce or reserve for another use. (delicious on leftovers)
