Ingredients
1 tbsp butter
8 slices bacon, chopped
1 small onion, finely diced
250 g kale
250 g silver beet
2 cloves garlic
1¼ cups chicken stock
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
Directions
Wash greens and using a sharp knife, cut out any woody stems. Cut into 2 cm pieces.
Cook chopped bacon in butter over medium heat in a pan until crisp. Remove a few slices for garnish.
Add onions to bacon fat and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
Add greens and garlic. Cook until slightly wilted, about 3-4 minutes.
Add stock, cover and cook on a low simmer 35-40 minutes until tender.
Season with SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste.
