Ingredients
1 head cauliflower about 4 cups
2 large eggs
¼ cup all purpose flour
¼ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
¾ cup breadcrumbs
½ tsp garlic powder
ORANGE SAUCE:--
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
⅓ cup light brown sugar
1 tbsp orange zest
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp sriracha
2 cloves garlic
¼ tsp ground ginger
1 tbsp rice bran oil
1½ tbsp SIDS LOW SUGAR RASPBERRY VINEGAR
1 tbsp cornflour + 1 tbsp water
Directions
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Chop the cauliflower into medium bite sized florets.
Whisk both eggs together in a medium bowl. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, SIDS CRAZY SALT, breadcrumbs and garlic powder.
Dip each piece of cauliflower in the egg, then transfer to the breadcrumb mixture. Coat the piece completely with breadcrumbs and then transfer to a baking tray lined with baking paper. Repeat until all cauliflower has been used. Sprinkle any remaining breadcrumbs on top of the cauliflower before placing in the oven.
Bake for 25 minutes, turn the oven off and leave in an additional 5 minutes to crisp up.
During the final few minutes, make the sauce. Finely mince the garlic and add to a pot with the oil. Sauté for a few minutes until golden brown. Add in SIDS LOW SUGAR RASPBERRY VINEGAR and all remaining ingredients, aside from the cornflour, then whisk to combine. Bring to a low boil.
In a small bowl, combine the cornflour and water then stir into the sauce once it is at a low boil. Reduce the heat and let simmer until thickened. Remove from heat.
When the cauliflower is done, cool for 5 minutes then transfer to a large bowl. Toss with the sauce and serve immediately.
