Ingredients
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
1 tsp paprika
800 g diced apple
3x 400 g Oak baked beans
400 g can whole tomatoes in juice
2x 500 g tubes sausage meat
4 tsp curry powder
4 tbsp brown sugar
2-3 tsp arrowroot or cornflour
½ cup parsley, fine chopped
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
Directions
Spray the bowl with oil. Mix together cumin, paprika and SIDS CRAZY SALT.
Spread the diced apple in the cooker then sprinkle with half the cumin mixture. Top with a layer of baked beans, including any liquid. Repeat these layers over, then cut tomatoes in half and top the beans, including the juice.
Remove the covering from the sausage meat and cut into 12 even pieces then with wet hands, form each into a ball.
Mix together curry powder and brown sugar then sprinkle ¼ of it into a round, flat-bottomed container. Roll 6 balls at a time in the curry mixture to coat completely and add to the crockpot, then repeat.
Cook on LOW for 8-9 hours or HIGH for 4 hours then gently stir the mixture. Thicken if necessary with arrowroot or cornflour. Leave a few minutes until the sauce thickens then stir in the parsley. Season with SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste.
