Ingredients

100 g self-raising flour
½ tsp baking powder
1 tbsp butter
2 spring onions, thin sliced
1 tbsp mixed herbs, chopped
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
2 tbsp milk
2 tbsp cold water

Directions

Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl. Using your fingers, rub in the butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Fold in the spring onion, herbs and SIDS SALT & PEPPER. Add all the milk then gradually add the water to make a soft dough. About 20 minutes before a casserole has finished cooking, remove from the oven and drop in tablespoons of the dumpling mixture. Return casserole to the oven.
