Ingredients
500 g beef mince
250 g lamb mince
1 onion, finely diced
¾ cup pine nuts
⅛ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp SIDS CRAZY LEMON
⅓ cup lemon juice
1 egg, beaten
2 packets puff pastry, thawed
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
Directions
In a large pan on medium-high, fry off all the mince and SIDS CRAZY LEMON so it is crumbly with no lumps. Add onion, pine nuts, cinnamon and SIDS SALT & PEPPER. Cook until onion is soft then drain. Stir in lemon juice then taste and season again, if necessary, then allow to cool.
Set oven to 175°C then lightly grease a baking tray.
Roll out the pastry to about 3 mm then cut out 18x 75 mm rounds. Lightly brush the inside edges with water then place about 2 tsp of filling in the middle of each round. Fold the pastry in half to cover the filling then squeeze the edges with a fork to seal then transfer to the baking tray.
