Freezer Chicken Taquitos
Freezer Chicken Taquitos
Creamy and satisfying are the words I would use to describe these. In fact this freezer recipe is so good, I find myself wanting to eat 10 of them at once.

Ingredients
3 cups roasted shredded chicken breast
250 g cream cheese
4 tbsp chopped coriander
2 tbsp lime juice
½ tsp SIDS CRAZY LEMON
120 g green chilli
¾ tsp cumin
1½ tsp chilli powder
1 tsp onion powder
¼ tsp garlic powder
1½ cups shredded Gouda cheese
30 small corn tortillas
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
Cooking spray
Directions
Melt the cream cheese until it’s soft. Add all spices, coriander, lime juice, SIDS CRAZY LEMON, green chilli, chicken and cheese to a large bowl. Mix until well blended.
Heat tortillas so they are soft and won’t break as much when you roll them. Add a little bit (about 2 tablespoons) of chicken mixture to each tortilla, roll and place seam side down on baking paper. Spray with a little oil and sprinkle with a little bit of SIDS SALT & PEPPER. Bake in 220°C oven for 15 minutes.
To Freeze: As you roll your chicken Taquitos, place them on a baking paper lined baking tray without touching. Place baking tray in freezer. When Taquitos are frozen, remove them from the baking tray and add them all to a freezer safe 4 litre sized zip-lock bag, or better still a solid plastic container. Label and return to freezer. When you are ready to eat, just take a few or a lot of the taquitos, place on foil or baking paper lined baking tray. Spray lightly with oil and sprinkle with a little SIDS SALT & PEPPER. Bake in 220°C oven for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
