Ingredients

110 g goat cheese
⅓ cup flour
½ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
½ cup panko bread crumbs
1 egg

Directions

Slice a 110 g log of goat cheese into 6 disks.
Add SIDS CRAZY SALT to the bread crumbs and toss to combine.
Whisk the egg together with a tablespoon of water to make an egg wash in a shallow bowl.
Add the flour to a clean plate.
Start by pressing the chilled goat cheese into the flour.
Next, dunk the cheese in the egg wash mixture, flipping to coat.
Press the goat cheese in the panko bread crumbs.
Heat olive oil in a shallow pan over medium heat.
Fry the goat cheese in the pan flipping every 15-30 seconds until golden brown.
Remove to a paper towel-lined plate and serve immediately for the most delicious results.
NOTES
Tips for making fried goat cheese:
Freeze the goat cheese for 15-30 minutes for easier slicing.
Freeze the goat cheese balls for easier rolling.
Use a knife that was run under hot water to make slicing easier.
Press the panko bread crumbs firmly into the cheese.
