Fried Haloumi Cheese Fingers

Fry or barbecue this Cyprus style cheese and serve with a Greek salad and crusty bread. It can be just as easily dry fried as it can be fried in oil and is also easily cooked on the barbecue plate.

Ingredients

360 g haloumi cheese
1 tbsp rice bran oil
½ tsp dried oregano
3 tsp fresh lemon juice
½ tsp SIDS CRAZY LEMON

Directions

Slice cheese into 1 cm thick fingers and let drain on a paper towel for 10 minutes.
Fry in oil on each side for 1-2 minutes until the cheese bubbles and turns light golden brown.
Serve warm sprinkled with lemon juice, oregano and SIDS CRAZY LEMON.
