Garlic Beer Steaks

An easy marinade of beer, garlic, and pepper gives flank steak a distinctive bold flavour. Use an amber ale for added malty sweetness. (or any beer that you prefer to drink)

Ingredients

1 can beer
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup oyster sauce
1 tbsp SIDS RASPBERRY VINEGAR
SIDS SMOKEY BBQ RUB to taste
4 beef steaks
2 tsp rice bran oil

Directions

In a shallow glass dish, combine the beer, garlic, pepper, oyster sauce and SIDS RASPBERRY VINEGAR. Mix well. Rub steaks on both sides with SIDS SMOKEY BBQ RUB and place in the marinade. Be sure to coat the steaks well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Preheat grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
Remove steaks from marinade and discard marinade. Grill steaks for about 4 minutes on each side, turning every 15 seconds, to desired doneness.
