Ingredients

500 g beef mince
1 onion, fine chopped
1 tbsp SIDS GARLIC SAUCE
1 orange capsicum, seeded, fine chopped
1 large ripe tomato, fine chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
¼ cup fine chopped parsley
¼ cup fine chopped coriander
2 tsp Moroccan spice mix
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
6 pita pockets, halved crossways
SIDS SALT & PEPPER
1 tbs rice bran oil
Yoghurt, to serve
Lemon wedges, to serve

Directions

Preheat oven to 240°C/220°C fan forced.
Combine beef, SIDS GARLIC SAUCE, onion, capsicum, tomato, garlic, parsley, coriander, Moroccan spice mix and cayenne pepper in a large bowl. Season well with SIDS SALT & PEPPER. Divide mixture into twelve even portions. Place mixture into each pita pocket half, gently pressing to flatten. Lightly brush the pita with oil. Wrap each pita bread loosely in baking paper. Place on a baking tray. Bake for 15 minutes. Turn and bake for a further 15 minutes until golden brown and heated through. Serve with yoghurt and lemon wedges.
