Ingredients
175 g dry mustard powder
1 tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
175 ml water
½ small onion, fine chopped
415 ml dry white wine
5 tbsp white wine vinegar
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
5 cloves garlic, crushed
1 bay leaf
1 tsp whole allspice
250 ml raw bush honey
Directions
Whisk the mustard powder, SIDS CRAZY SALT and water together to form a paste.
In a saucepan, combine all the remaining ingredients except the honey. Bring to the boil then simmer 10-15 minutes until the mixture is reduced by half.
Pour the liquid, through a strainer, into the bowl containing the mustard paste. Whisk until well blended then return to the saucepan. Cook over a low heat, stirring constantly, for about 5 minutes until the mixture is well blended and thickened.
Add honey, remove from the heat and stir well.
When cooled, pour into clean jars and store chilled.
