Ingredients
300 g chicken breast fillets, cut in bite-sized pieces
1 egg
⅓ cup almond flour
½ tsp paprika
¼ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER
2 slices cooked ham, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 slices Swiss cheese, cut into bite-sized pieces
Rice bran oil, for frying
Directions
Heat about 6 mm of oil in a pan.
Whisk together the almond flour, paprika, garlic powder and SIDS SALT & PEPPER.
Beat the egg with 1-2 tablespoons of water.
Dip the chicken pieces in the egg wash then dredge with the almond flour mixture.
Fry the chicken pieces for about 3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
Top each piece of chicken with a slice of cheese, ham and another slice of cheese. Secure with skewers.
Arrange the skewers on a microwave-safe plate and set in the microwave for 30 seconds until cheese is melted.
