Ingredients
½ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
28 g plain flour
8 lambs kidneys
28 g bacon fat or lard
185 ml water
72 ml pale ale
1 beef stock cube
pinch of garlic powder
small can mushrooms
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
gravy browning (optional)
Directions
Mix SIDS CRAZY SALT with 28 g of plain flour.
Toss kidneys in seasoned flour then brown in fat for about 2 minutes. Add any remaining flour and stir well.
Blitz together water, ale, stock cube, garlic and mushrooms. Add more fine chopped fresh mushrooms if desired.
Pour mixture in with the kidneys then simmer for 10 minutes. Add SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste and gravy browning if needed.
Serve with rice.
