Korean Spinach Salad (Siguemchi Namul)

Ingredients

500 g fresh spinach
8 cups water
2 clove garlic, minced
2 spring onions, chopped
3 tsp soy sauce
3 tsp sesame oil
4 tsp toasted sesame seeds
½ tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste

Directions

Wash the spinach thoroughly under running cold water. Rinse twice and cut the root ends.
Boil water on high heat in a large pot. Blanch the spinach for 30 seconds.
Remove from the heat and rinse in cold water a couple of times. Squeeze out excess water with hands.
In a medium mixing bowl add garlic clove, spring onion, soy sauce, sesame oil and sesame seeds. Season with SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste.
Put the spinach into a serving bowl and mix well.
Serve and enjoy!
