Ingredients

DOUGH INGREDIENTS:--
2 kg peeled potatoes, boiled & cooled
2 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER
FILLING INGREDIENTS:--
1 kg ground beef
1 tbsp rice bran oil
2 medium onions, finely chopped
1 tsp sea salt
¼ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
1 tsp ground allspice
1 cup chopped parsley

Directions

Heat the oil in a frypan. Cook beef about 10 minutes until browned, then add SIDS SALT & PEPPER and the remaining filling ingredients. Cook for an additional 5 minutes. Let cool.
Meanwhile, mix cooled potatoes (use a ricer if possible) with cornflour, SIDS CRAZY SALT and salt until blended. Break off a walnut-sized piece of dough. Hold in one hand and hollow it out with the thumb of the other hand.
Fill the opening with 2 tablespoons meat filling. Pinch the edges together to close the opening. Gently flatten the closed ball into a disc-shaped patty.
Pour 6 mm of oil in a frypan and heat to 175°C. Fry on each side until browned.
Serve warm.
