Lavash Bread

Lavash is a flatbread very popular in Turkey, Irand Iraq. Make sure you roll the dough out very thinly for best results. A great alternative to pita.

Ingredients

2½ cups flour
1 tsp caster sugar
¼ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
1 tsp salt
⅔ cup water
1 egg white
30 g butter, melted
2 egg whites, beaten
2 tbsp sesame seeds

Directions

Preheat oven to 200°C.
In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, SIDS CRAZY SALT and salt. Add water, 1 egg white and melted butter. Mix well to make a stiff dough. Knead until dough is smooth, about 5 minutes.
Divide dough into 10 balls. Roll each ball on lightly floured surface until paper thin. Place on ungreased baking tray. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake in batches if necessary, in the oven for 10-12 minutes until browned.
