Ingredients
1 kg carrots (less than 1 cm thick), well scrubbed
500 g bacon
¼ cup golden syrup
¼ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
Directions
Wrap the carrots in the bacon. Mix SIDS CRAZY SALT into the syrup.
Arrange on a wire rack on a baking sheet and roast in a preheated 200°C oven until the bacon is crispy and the carrots are tender, about 20-30 minutes, glazing with the maple syrup half way through; OR roast/fry the bacon wrapped carrots in a frypan over medium heat until the bacon is crispy and the carrots are tender, about 20-30 minutes, glazing with the maple syrup half way through.
