Marinated Grilled Hot Dogs

The BEST hot dogs we have ever eaten. Easy to double or triple for a crowd. Great for cookouts and picnics. Can freeze any leftovers.

Ingredients

½ cup chilli sauce
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE
1½ tbsp mustard, Dijon or yellow
1 tbsp brown sugar
½ tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER
8 hot dogs
8 hot dog buns, very fresh

Directions

With a small, sharp knife, make cuts at an angle in 2 rows down each hot dog, about 1 cm apart, cutting part way into the hot dog. The cuts should look like rounded half circles.
Mix together the chilli sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE, mustard, brown sugar, SIDS SALT & PEPPER. Pour into a large ziplock bag, add dogs and marinate for 20 minutes to overnight.
Grill the hot dogs until nicely charred and the cuts open up, about 4-5 minutes total.
Assemble with your favourite toppings or pour the marinade into a small pan and over a medium heat, reduce down to a jus then top with that
