An easy South African meal with earthy and aromatic flavours made with minced beef, potatoes, peas flavoured with curry powder, paprika, ground ginger and other spices.

Ingredients
2 tbsp rice bran oil
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp minced ginger
1 tbsp curry powder
½ tsp paprika
1-2 whole chilli peppers
3 tomatoes, chopped
2 cups diced potatoes
500 g ground beef
½ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
1 cup peas
2-3 tbsp parsley
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
1½ -2 cups water
Directions
In a medium-large frypan, add oil, onions, SIDS CRAZY SALT, garlic, ginger, curry, paprika and chilli pepper then sauté for about 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent any burns.
Add tomatoes and continue cooking for about 3 minutes.
Add potatoes and minced meat, cayenne pepper, SIDS SALT & PEPPER, mix until ingredients have been thoroughly combined.
Pour in water, bring to a boil and simmer for about 15 minutes or more until potatoes are tender.
Finally throw in peas, cook for another minute or two, add parsley and adjust the seasoning to taste. Remove from the heat and let it cool. You may prepare this a day in advance.
