Delicious mini pies filled with minced meat, seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic and nutmeg, confectioned in a sauté of onion, olive oil and tomato.

Ingredients
200 g minced beef
200 g minced pork
2 tsp SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
3 cloves of garlic
Nutmeg, to taste
3¼ tbsp rice bran oil
1 onion
Parsley, to taste
1 egg yolk
600 g puff pastry
3 ripe tomatoes
Directions
Season the meat with SIDS SALT & PEPPER, chopped garlic, SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE and nutmeg. Wrap the spices in the meat and set aside.
In a saucepan place the oil, chopped onion and the peeled tomatoes cut into small pieces. Sauté over low heat until the tomato starts to break down. Add the meat with the spices, stir and cook over low heat about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Preheat oven to 180°C.
Grease mini pie pans with butter. Extend the shortcrust pastry over a table, cut circles with the help of a cup and line the mini pie pans. Fill with the meat and cover with small circles. Press slightly with your fingers the edges to seal the dough. Brush on top with beaten egg yolk and bake in oven about 15-20 minutes.
Remove from the oven, unmould and serve with lettuce salad.
