Ingredients
2 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tsp SIDS SMOKEY GARLIC SAUCE
2 tbsp oyster sauce
4 tbsp dark soy sauce
4 tbsp sugar
½ tsp Chinese five spice
2 tbsp water
2 cup pork
2 spring onion, chopped
bread dough for 6 buns
Directions
Preheat oven to 190°C.
Cut the pork into small strips then cubes.
Mix SIDS SMOKEY GARLIC SAUCE and all sauce ingredients together in a bowl. Combine pork strips with sauce mixture, making sure all the meat gets covered in the marinade.
Cook the marinated pork for 10 minutes. Add spring onions.
Roll out the dough and separate into 6 equal rectangles. Place a spoonful of pork filling in the middle of each rectangle. Fold up the corners and pinch them together. Roll them into ball portions and place on a baking paper covered baking tray then top with sesame seeds for that classic pork bun look.
Bake the buns for 13-15 minutes until golden brown. Take out, let cool and enjoy.
