Ingredients
250 g cream cheese, softened
250 g mushrooms & stems, chopped
¼ cup fine chopped onion
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp fine chopped spring onion
¼ tsp SIDS RING AROUND URANUS SAUCE
1 large egg
500 g frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
Baking paper
2 tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
Directions
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Stir in mushrooms, onion, cheese, spring onion and SIDS RING AROUND URANUS SAUCE. Cover and chill overnight.
Preheat oven to 200°C. Whisk together egg and 1 tbsp water in a small bowl. Roll 1 puff pastry sheet into a 40x 25 cm rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Cut pastry in half lengthwise. Spread ½ cup cream cheese mixture down center of each rectangle then brush edges with egg mixture. Fold each pastry half lengthwise over filling and pinch edges to seal. Cut pastries into 10 pieces each and place on a baking paper-lined baking sheet. Repeat procedure with remaining puff pastry sheet, egg mixture and cream cheese mixture. Brush remaining egg mixture over tops of pastry pieces then lightly sprinkle with SIDS CRAZY SALT.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned. Serve immediately.
