Ingredients
1 tbsp rice bran oil
1 red onion, sliced thinly
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 kg NZ Green Lipped Mussels, cleaned
zest & segments of 1 orange
1 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
1 tbsp SIDS WINE & PEPPER MUSTARD
300 ml fresh orange juice
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
Boil or steam mussels until they open then drain water and set aside.
In a medium pot, add oil and sauté onion and garlic. Add orange zest, sage, SIDS WINE & PEPPER MUSTARD and orange juice. Reduce until slightly thick then pour into a serving jug.
Divide mussels onto 4 dinner plates and serve with the orange and sage sauce. Season with SIDS SALT & PEPPER
