Ingredients
12 oysters shucked, on half shell
1 stick butter
3 cloves garlic minced
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
3 tsp parsley, divided
1 lemon ½ juiced, ½ wedges
1 tsp SIDS RINGS AROUND URANUS sauce
SIDS SALT & PEPPER, to taste
Directions
In a medium bowl, combine butter, 2 tsp parsley, parmesan, garlic, SIDS RINGS AROUND URANUS sauce, lemon juice, SIDS SALT & PEPPER. Set to the side.
Shuck oysters. If you have a place that will shuck them for you and leave them on the half shell, even better to cut down prep time.
Take a heaped spoonful of the seasoned butter and put on top of the oysters. This will ensure there is a generous portion of the sauce on each oyster to cook in.
Place oysters on a grill. Make sure it's on the hottest part of the grill. If you have a gas grill, you can still make this recipe. Just make sure it's on HIGH heat and on the hottest spot. Close lid and cook for 5 minutes.
You will know it's done when the oyster's edges curl and the garlic butter sauce is bubbling. Serve hot garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
